Camping Etiquette 101

  1. Please be courteous to fellow campers. Walk on roads, not through other people’s sites.
  2. Keep your pets on leashes or a line while on property. Please clean up after your pet. If your pet is more aggressive, that is, protective of you, please make sure they are out of the way, or in your RV when the host helps you park.
  3. Please keep campfires small. Always attend to your campfire. Put your campfire out before heading for bed or leaving the campground. Douse the fire with water and stir to make sure no hot coals remain.
  4. To prevent spreading pests and disease in our forest, please only use wood from the Kaibab National Forest. No firewood from outside of our forest is allowed. We have firewood for sale that supports a local woodcutter. They are nice big bundles.
  5. Bring water from the sinks to your tent site to wash your dishes. Please do not wash dishes at the sinks, it can clog them up.
  6. Be respectful of the peace and quiet, keep music and voices low. Observe quiet times.
  7. We do allow ATV’s at sites, please follow the speed limit of 5 mph to drive to the exit gate. No “joyriding” on property. If an RV is coming in and parking, please wait patiently for that to finish happening or drive around the other way so not to interfere with the folks parking.
  8. Please walk around the private residence and RV on property, not through the yard.
  9. Use common sense and cooperation to have fun, make friends, eat s’mores and have a wonderful camping experience with us!
